The Auto-Titrating pH (ATpH) meter is designed to be fully automated; it is expected to display the pH of a given solution, adjust the pH to a preset value or maintain the pH within a given range. This project can be made by students of Chemical Engineering, Mechatronics and Bio-Tech Engineering. The overall design of our instrument is to serve multiple purposes. First, it can be used as low cost alternative to high priced pH meters. Secondly, the ATpH meter is capable of auto-titrating using BS2 as the microcontroller. You can use this report for reference and study only.

pH refers to the concentration of [H+] in a solution. In general terms it is a scale of measurement to determine the acidic or alkaline (or basic) state of a solution. The pH scale ranges from 0 to 14. At pH 7, the solution is neutral. For pH units lower than 7, the solution is acidic and at pH units higher than 7 are considered basic.
