Security System using Smart Card Technology

A smart card reader is a device which read data from the card provided to the authorized person. This smart card reader is directly interfaced to an 8051 micro-controller and matches the data. Whenever data is matched the LED will glow and person with that access card will be given access and all his detail will be recorded. If a person try to use a different or invalid card in this smart reader, then there will be no activity in device and indicating lamp will remain Off.
