Virtual Router Redundancy Protocol

There are many ways of minimizing network outages and every alternative has its pros and cons. A better choice is to use the Virtual Router Redundancy Protocol (VRRP), which eliminates the single point of failure while maintaining a single router’s ease of administration.Virtual Router Redundancy Protocol is good topic of Seminar for Electronics and Communication Students or this can also be made Computer Science Students. You can also Subscribe to FINAL YEAR PROJECT'S by Email for more such Projects and Seminar.
VRRP specifies an election protocol that dynamically assigns responsibility for a virtual router to one of the VRRP routers on a LAN. The VRRP router controlling the IP address (es) associated with a virtual router is called the Master, and forwards packets sent to these IP addresses. The election process provides dynamic fail over in the forwarding responsibility should be the Master become unavailable
