Early Detection of Silk Worm Pathogens

This is a Bio-technology project which emphasis to increase the productivity and quality of silk by early detection of silk worm pathogens. Silkworm larvae, Bombyx mori (L), are an important economic insect and also a tool to convert leaf protein into silk. The industrial and commercial use of silk, the historical and economic importance of production and its application in all over the world finely contributed to the silkworm promotion as a powerful laboratory model for the basic research in biology. Early Detection of Silk Worm Pathogens

The main objective of the present study is to develop diagnostic techniques for the early detection of pathogen infecting the silkworms in sericulture farms. There are 4 types of Silk, which are namely Mulberry silk, Eri Silk, Muga silk and Tasar Silk. This report tell about how to rear silkworm and use this report for your reference and study only.
