Modelling and Parametric Optimization of Wire EDM Process using Taguchi Metodology

This is a very good Mechanical project report on Modelling and Parametric optimization of Wire EDM Process using Taguchi Metodology which was submitted in the partial fulfilment of the requirement for the award of degree of Bachelors of Technology in Mechanical Engineering. CNC Wire Cut Electrical Discharge Machining (WEDM) is a widely accepted material removal process used to manufacture components with complicated shapes and profiles. WEDM is a unique adaptation of the conventional EDM process which uses an electrode to initialize the sparking process. You can also Subscribe to FINAL YEAR PROJECT'S by Email for more such projects and seminar.

In this project we did single factor optimization (MRR), in future we can do multifactor optimization like KERF, Surface finishing, Electrode wear rate. In future process parameter can be increased like Spark gap set voltage, Radius compensation factor, Duty factor, etc. In this project Minitab software is used. Use this project for your reference and study work.
