This is a good Electronics and electrical project report on Buck converter. Buck converter is a transistor switched by PWM trigger pulses and a diode provides a current continuation path when the transistor is off, thus the input
voltage is chopped. Below shows the block diagram of the project. A lowpass LC filter is used to attenuate the switching ripple at the output. The input current to a basic buck converter is discontinuous; therefore, in many applications an LC prefilter is applied to reduce EMI.

There are three basic types of dc-dc converter circuits, termed as buck, boost and buck-boost. In all of these circuits, a power device is used as a switch. A buck converter, or step-down voltage regulator, provides non-isolated, switch-mode dc-dc conversion with the advantages of simplicity and low cost. This report contains the block diagram, circuit diagram and full working of this project.
