Performance Evaluation of Bamboo Reinforced Concrete Beams

This is a good Civil project report on performance evaluation of bamboo reinforced concrete beams and was submitted in partial fulfillment of the requirements for the degree of Master of science in Civil Engineering. This study presents the evaluation of the feasibility of the use of bamboo as a potential reinforcement in concrete structural members. To achieve this objective a series of tensile tests on three types of bamboo Solid; Moso; and Tonkin; were conducted to obtain their constitutive relation. Performance Evaluation of Bamboo Reinforced Concrete Beams

Bamboo is a natural Functionally Graded Material (FGM). It is a composite with hierarchical structure. The strength of bamboo is greater than most of the timber products. Since this study aims at using bamboo as reinforcement for concrete beams, the bamboo samples were waterproofed in order to be consistent with the reinforcement preparation. Thanks to author and use it for your study only.
