Static Behaviour of Curved Girders Civil Seminar Report

This is a Civil engineering seminar on static behaviour of curved girders and was submitted for the partial fulfillment of Bridge Engineering (BE). In this paper the static behaviour of curved bridges is clarified by investigating actual bridge cases. Basis of torsional warping is shortly explained and the behaviour of three types of cross sections are studied and compared. You can also Subscribe to FINAL YEAR PROJECT'S by Email for more such projects and seminar.

The report also focus on torsional warping stress, definition of torsional parameter, the critical torsional parameter, distorsional warping stress etc. And the effects of diaphragm spacing, central angle and cross sectional quantities to distorsional warping stresses are presented with four typical box girder bridges. Thanks to the author and use this civil report only for your reference and study work.
