This report discuss important design and implementation issues in developing the Focused Crawler as an application for the end-user. This work, introduce the scout, a training assistant that lets the user initialize the crawler with keywords and URLs, and explore around the Web interactively to collect more examples. The scout consults standard taxonomies, does link analysis on the neighborhood web graph, and queries search engines to gather the related examples. Use only for your reference and study.
