In this program you have the opportunity to work on a open source project and use your skills which you learned in your university. This is a true exposure which will also help students in their carrier.



What is Google Summer of Code ?

Google Summer of Code is a global program that offers students stipends to write code for open source projects.

This program is running from last 8 years and about 6,000 students have graduated” from this global program, working with almost 400 different open source projects. Interested coders can submit their proposal before 3rd May 2013. This is a global program, so all university students can take part in this.
