Giant Magnetoresistance Sensor Presentation

This is a good Electrical presentation on Giant Magnetoresistance(GMR) Sensor which is discovered in the late 1980s and is a quantum mechanical magneto-resistance effect observed in thin-film structures composed of alternating ferromagnetic and non-magnetic layers. The GMR effect states significant decrease in electrical resistance in the presence of a magnetic field. Giant magnetoresistance (GMR) sensors can achieve a change of resistance of 10%–20%.
