discusses the characteristics of optical current sensors, specifically for relaying applications where measurement of fault-level currents is required. The report is divided into many chapters and focus on Current Transformers, optical Technology etc. Some of the important topic which this report covers are saturation in conventional current transformers, saturated and non-saturated CT secondary o/p, measuring current using optical technology, current sensor technology & working of current sensor. You can also Subscribe to FINAL YEAR PROJECT'S by Email for more such Projects and Seminar.
Optical current sensors contain no magnetic components and thus avoid CT saturation problem and do not have any saturation effects associated with them. Optical current sensors also have no iron core to saturate. Use this seminar only for your help and reference.
